Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Pocket 3D mobile application ("the app"), published by Codigic Solutions ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for personal or commercial purposes, in accordance with these terms and with the rules of the app store you obtained it from.
What you may not do
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted.
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense or rent the app.
- Remove or obscure any copyright or attribution notices.
- Use the app to break the law, or to infringe anyone's intellectual property rights.
Your content
The 3D model files you open remain entirely yours. We claim no rights over them, and we never receive them — the app reads files only on your device. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use any file you open.
Measurements are advisory
The dimensions, volume, surface area and watertight status shown by the app are computed from the mesh data in your file. They are provided for guidance only.
STL files carry no unit information; the app assumes millimetres, which is the usual convention for 3D printing but is not guaranteed to match your file. Volume is calculated in a way that is only meaningful for a closed mesh, which is why the app withholds it when the watertight check fails.
Do not rely on these figures alone for manufacturing, engineering, medical, structural or safety-critical decisions. Verify them against your CAD software or slicer before committing material, time or money.
Availability and changes
We may update, change or discontinue the app, or any of its features, at any time. We are not obliged to provide support, updates or continued availability.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will correctly parse or display every file.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for any loss of profits, data, materials, printing time or business, arising out of or relating to your use of the app — including reliance on any measurement it reports. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Third-party software
The app is built with open-source components, including three.js, React Native and Expo, each licensed under its own terms. Those licences continue to apply to those components.
Termination
This licence ends automatically if you breach these terms. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any statutory consumer rights you may have in your own country of residence.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the app after a revision means you accept it.
